How Hard Is To Be An Illegal Immigrant

I learned more about how hard it actually is to be an illegal immigrant. I learned more in depth of the struggles. I still believe my answer is correct but i learned more in depth. Same goes for my thoughts on migrant farmers. I have a lot more sympathy for the people that did have to move here only to still have a hard life but i believe that is the price for freedom. I think that they move here for a better life and shot at being the best and most successful being they can be.

I think fransisco would rather go to school because i think he is very curious and being curious he would want to find the answers and school could give that to him. After his last day of seventh grade he was dreading working every day throughout the summer he even counted the days until he could finally go back. He gets tired and hurt during work where as at school he listens and sits learning new things his curious mind wants to know. When he was younger in the first chapter i wrote that he was young and curious and i think he has carried that along with him throughout the story. I think he doesn't complain because he has no choice, work is the only way he could help his family. I bet his father doesn't want to work and roberto didn't want to quit school but they have no other choice neither does fransisco.

For my community event I went to the Romero Theater Troupe’s presentation of Thoughts on Regime Change & Other Acts of Resistance at Regis University on February 25th. This event was heavily focused on immigration and included actual stories from immigrants and their families as well as other stories that discussed critical issues in our society today. From this event I feel like I learned a ton about how immigration can affect families and how hard it can be to come to this country. Many of the stories were something that I could never relate to due to my own circumstances so it was very interesting to be able to see how people feel and how they are treated as immigrants. I feel like I really learned a lot from the Lopez family’s performance…

However, not very many people discuss the ways in which immigrants can learn how to assimilate and what assimilating in entails. Learning the language of the new country is just one step in integrating into that country, along with becoming a citizen and the steps that come with it, and getting any documents you may need for that country. Along with German, Spanish, Italian, French, and Dutch, English is one of the easiest languages to learn.…
