Have you ever had that one moment when you were doing something and you felt like it was meant to be? Like it just clicked that this is what you are supposed to be doing. Well I’ve had three experiences like that. When I was young, sports came to came to me and they changed my life. The first is once when I was about six years old, my mother put me on a basketball team. Next, about a year later, I started watching NBA. I fell in love with Stephen Curry. He became my role model. And last, is the love of all sports. I played basketball, baseball and football. Sports are my life.
My favorite sport is basketball. I love basketball like I love my mother. I like to say I worship it. When my mother put me on my first team, I fell in love with the

Me and all my best friends would play football at school whenever we could. We made a flag football team called the Cougars. It was named after the college BYU (Brigham Young University). I remember one game I played against my friend Given’s team. We were number one in the league and they were number two. We won that game by one point. I caught the winning touchdown. Now I watch football every Sunday. Football is a tradition in our family. I like to watch my favorite team the most which is the Denver Broncos. I have their quarterback, Peyton Manning, on my wall in my room.
I love sports. Without sports I don’t know where I would be. When I’m depressed or stressed out, I go to sports to cheer me up. I get really “into the game” and emotional. Sports mean so much to me. Instead of taking video games or grounding me when I have bad behavior or when I get in trouble, my parents take away sports.
Some people say sports are a waste of time. I will tell you that they are not. They are a great way to have fun with friends and stay in shape. Sports teach you important life skills like how to communicate with your peers and how to control your anger. To wrap up my essay, I’d just like to say that sports saved my life. I hope everyone in the world tries out a sport. They truly are worth the

While growing up, sports have always been a big part of my life. At the age of only six years old, my parents first signed me up for coach pitch softball. Being so young when I first started playing, winning and losing did not matter at all. As long as I got to throw, hit, and catch the ball, I was happy.…
