How firm TKaM relates to the novel? To Kill a Mockingbird is a American novel by Harper Lee published in 1960. The novel won the Pulitzer Prize, and has become a classic of modern American literature required to all students. The novel was made into film with same title in 1962. Actors and actresses of the film and also the film won awards ceremonies such as Academy Award. Author of the book, Harper Lee refused many offers to remake from media such as TV show or play, but she was pleased at the film and said, “the film is work of art”. The film, however, couldn 't include all characters and all scenes from the book. To make perfect flow of story with skipping some scenes, they had to make up some scenes. Nevertheless, the film has been evaluated as an excellent firm that doesn 't need to be revised. They skipped and created some scenes; they have little bit differences between movie and book in themes. To make a film with all scenes from book, it takes way more money and time spending and the film going be too long. To fix the problem, film solution of film companies is remove some character and make only one focus. As a result of removing some characters and, they don’t have to make scenes that related with removed characters. As a result of focusing on one theme, they can make up scenes for better flow of story.
