According to the article of ‘How Fear Works’ by Julia Layton (2012), it is stated that fear could be characterized as a general unconscious feeling of unpleasantness or could be more complicated, or complex emotion such as anxiety and externalized fear. Besides, regarding to ‘The Psychology of Fear’, fear could also be phobias which are persistent pathological fears directed towards specific objects and situations (Roy, 2010).
