The environment and what people are exposed to can make you violent. primatologists and evolutionary anthroplogists have research that proves that neither man or women are violent by nature (Barker). this evidence shows that humans are not violent naturally but because of other things. a persons background has an influence on how they act and how they are violent. researchers have shown that most violent people have had a tramatic life or background that turn us into killers and criminals.(Barker). in other words that we all have that potential to be violent but it is the things that we have been through and how we deal with our anger what we do and if we become violent or not. …show more content…
we are taught how to kill and how to be violent. the military teaches how to shoot and kill someone but have a difficult time helping someone recover and teach them not to kill anymore(barker). there are many troops that have ptsd but we dont help them the way we need to even though we taught them how to be violent they cannot stop being violent because they have been taught to do this and nothing else but kill. Even the people that you hang around and live with can influence how violent you are. sometimes it is family members that make teach or encourage violence in the home (barker).
