Drugs are harmful to your body if taken unprescribed. If you were addicted to drugs, you would realize how difficult it is to quit, but until you are in the position, you would not understand how hard it is to quit. Last year, the most known and taken drugs were illicit drugs. One example of an illicit drug is marijuana. Illicit means banned, against the law, or prohibited by the community, town, state, country, etc. Obviously, if you took an illicit drug, you could get into serious trouble. Some examples are prison time, potential fines, and in extreme cases; the death sentence. There are six different types of drugs; cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy, heroin, hallucinogens, and methamphetamine. These drugs are taken by smoking, sniffing, snorting, injected, orally, swallowed, or inhaled. Each one of the six listed above have their own specials effects, and shared effects. For example, cocaine is used for illegal stimulants and local anesthetics. Ecstasy inflicts happiness and glee for the user, but with a price. Heroin is the most common type of drug, it is highly addictive, some people have experienced self esteem gain by using heroin. You can experience any and all of these, just from one single time. On the outside, this is what you would experience; baldness, acne, stunned growth, tumors, and warts. People that have taken and experienced drugs firsthand, know how this feels. They all say they would rather take it all back, or go back in time to stop them from doing this unintelligent decision in their life. As you can imagine, all of the above are terribly painful for yourself, ego, and appearance, especially if you had to go into public looking like this. For instance, if you went to school or you worked in a crowded and packed environment. Do you think that your faculty, co-workers, or even friends would want to talk to you after they realize what you have been doing? They don’t want to fall under the influence of drugs! And remember, you do have a voice and opinion! You can say no, and back it up as long as you know what you are talking about. If you just mumble and say random stuff that everyone knows isn 't true, then you may be forced or influenced to take these drugs. All you have to do is say no and back away! Its not
