My opinion of the lion king hasn't changed, although after reading this text it has opened my mind to other possible meanings. Before I assumed it was just a typical kids movie with not much meaning behind it. After reading this text I can see all the other perspectives people have that shows racism, dominate attitudes and dominant social values of America. My opinion of the Lion King remains to be a kids movie that is simply a fictional movie created to how the American producer wanted. I don't believe there are any social values deliberately placed in this film. The evidence does suggest that they are in fact in the film but I don't believe they were intentional.
