How Does Walmart Use Slave Labor In Asian Countries

Slave labor in Asian countries is responsible for most of the shrimp that you see in the market today. The process begins with the production of fish meal, which suppliers use the shrimp that is used in the United Kingdom, America and other institutionalized countries. The people who produce fish meal are treated harshly. They work up to 20 hours a day and are unable to see their families for years. Additionally, they are beaten if they are unable to perform the task properly.

This story came to light in 2014. Samart Senasook was a man who managed to escape the slave labor. He had committed to work for one year, but his identity was stolen. He worked for six years as a slave. Samart stated that his life was very difficult. He stated that there were times when he wanted to commit suicide. His friend stopped him from committing suicide.
