The song Bad News by Kanye West ties in perfectly to the story of Romeo and Juliet. It ties into the scene where Juliet fakes her death in order to prevent marrying Paris since she wanted to stay loyal and also faithful to Romeo and also God. The servant of Romeo, Balthasar goes all the way to the city of Mantua so that he communicates to let know that his wife Romeo is dead. Romeo then responds by saying, “Then she is well and nothing can be ill. Her body sleeps in Capel’s monument, and her immortal part with angels lives.”(5.1.17) Also in the song Bad News have the lyrics “ I was waiting on you, waiting on a dream that’ll never come true.” This goes along to the story of Romeo and Juliet that the two lovebirds were doing well and happy but …show more content…

This song says the lyrics; “come back baby please we belong together which goes with act 3 scene 2 when Juliet wills for that particular night so that Romeo will leap into Juliet’s arms so that they can be together forever. The line she spoke was “Come, night Come Romeo. Come thou day in night, for thou wilt lie upon the wings of night, whiter than snow upon a raven’s back.” This relates to the motif in the story of star crossed lovers, fate, and that Romeo and Juliet are meant to be together,’ These two lovely star crossed lovers feel the same way, have intense feelings for each other, and they don’t see themselves liking anyone else despite both of their lust-inspired feelings. Later in the song there are lyrics in which it states, “ I can’t sleep at night, when you’re on my mind. This line matches with the thoughts of Juliet in the fact that on the first night when she met Romeo, Juliet couldn’t stop thinking about her and Romeo for ever and that they will get married. So to sum it all out this song is perfect since it shoes that Juliet and Romeo were meant to

In Conclusion, I think that Romeo is a young, inexperienced and impatient but loyal and brave boy. I think that his naivety plays a huge rule in this because love was taken as an extravagant feeling to have when it was not truly happy as the lovers can experience heartbreak and many other obstacles. It seems as if Romeo only more cautious and deliberate, his devastating ending could have been prevented (even though we have not finished the book yet). Amongst friends especially Mercutio, Romeo shows signs of his social and quick witted persona, even with his fond of verbal jousting that is mainly about sex. Lastly, Romeo is like every other male in the world who only unveils their true self to the people who they trust or who understand them.…

“Tragedy is an imitation of an action that is complete and whole… (Aristotle 31)”. This theory conveyed by Aristotle in his renowned work Poetics expresses the idea that a successful tragedy consists of specific principles that reoccur in classic literature. The theory emphasizes that a tragedy represents reality and universal truths rather than historical particulars. This is achieved by creating a tightly-woven cause and effect chain or “unity of action” that centers around the plot rather than the personalities of the characters. Also, the plot of the tragedy should have complex, specific, and coherent turning points, that are a part of the “unity of action”.…

Romeo’s heart was torn into pieces by Rosaline as she didn’t feel the love he felt for her, “she’ll not be hit with cupids arrow”. By Romeo using such depressing language to portray how upset and down he is shows the passion he had for Rosaline, “ sad hours seem long”. Romeo also uses oxymoron’s to describe how grieved and hurt he feels, “ I live dead”, O loving hate”. This reveals how confused Romeo feels as the unreciprocated love has made him feel shut down, “ I have a soul of lead”. Romeo uses negative words against himself to explain his emotions which points out to the audience that unrequited love is very heartbreaking and sorrowful and also that you shouldn’t love someone so instantly as it can result to disappointment.…
