Almost every activity I did that day involved the cool water. After an awesome time on the jet skis, my cousins and I used our floatation devises as beds to glide us along the ocean surface. Just as I closed my eyes and began to relax, I heard a panic plea for assistance. “Help! Help!” the faint voice cried. In The Chosen, by Chaim Potok, one theme wove its way throughout the entire story: friendship. It shaped Danny and Reuven’s life, and even affected both of their fathers’ lives as well. Friendship played a tremendous role when Danny felt depressed because of his experimental phycology class, as Reuven’s father had a heart attack needed hospitalization, and most of all, as Danny and his father overcame their silence. The story has the idea of friendship all through it, yet friendship affects these three situations most of all. I personally have noticed many changes throughout this course. I mostly noticed how now I analyze my jobs more with my coworkers, bosses and myself. I have one job that I absolutely love and another one that I do not care for very much, I did not really understand why because I get along well with my coworkers and higher ups. As our course went on and I started to understand business some more I then realized why there were certain things that were shaping my views about my jobs. One big thing that I noticed was the team work at my jobs.…

Of course, the study is not promoting Mozart’s work. Some recent work shows that the music with seizure frequencies close to the working frequencies of brain can help with stimulating brain activity.…

During senior year, I have thoroughly enjoyed taking Psychology AP and delving into the many intriguing topics that make up the course. The subject matter of this course is very interesting to me compared to some of my other classes like biology. I also believe that your teaching style has helped me learn the content well due to the topical outlines and entertaining lectures. Compared to other courses in which the teacher merely lectures in an organized fashion, this class has been very user-friendly in terms of understanding content. Overall, the three most intriguing topics that we have covered throughout the school year have been improving the ability to learn, sleep, and defense mechanisms.…

Coming into this course, I really didn 't know what to expect. Sociology is something that I’ve always known about, but never really paid much attention to. As many people other people think, I saw sociology and psychology as the same thing. I didn 't take the time to read or understand what the difference was and even if there really was a difference. I quickly learned that there was.…

Like many freshmen, during my first year, I was nervous and unsure about what I wanted to study for the next four years. I had ideas, and I knew there were a multitude of possibilities, but I hadn’t explored them, and none of my plans (as vague as they were) had been set in stone. Community college allowed me to sample many of those possible ideas for fields of study, from English to music, communication, and others. During my first semester of school, I took an introduction to psychology class. Throughout the semester, I became captivated by the subject.…
