How Does Technology Affect Our World

Why is Technology Affecting our World? Albert Einstein once said, “I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots.” Today in the year of 2016, I can see how technology is one of the most used things in the world. We no longer are the same people as back in the days with no technology. We now depend on technology for so many things. In my opinion, technology can be detrimental for the problems it is causing such as texting while driving, cyber bully, and mental health problems. As you are on the road, you can see that many people use their cell phones while driving. That is why texting while driving is a huge deal when it comes to accidents on the road. I feel like as the years have passed, texting while driving is becoming a bigger deal than drinking while driving. The technology was built to allow people to get information on things in a faster way, but the majority of the people use it in ways they are not supposed to. Technology helps people find things so much easier. Technology is used more in hospitals. It has been a great help to doctors because they can do research. Education has gotten better; students have more access to information online. One of the greatest improvements today is communication. It is way easier than what people had to do back then. Today we are able to communicate with the touch of a finger. We have texting which we don’t even have to talk and just type it in and hit send. I really don’t know what I would do without email. I think I wouldn’t be able to wait a week or two weeks for an answer. Another way we communicate is social media. We have Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, twitter, (etc.).
