How Does Sugar Cause Behavioral Problems

Decent Essays
But sugar is more sinister. As well as being the unknown cause of obesity, it also causes behavioral problems. This is due to the amount of sugar consumed being greater than your body allowance, this causes an excessive amount of insulin to be released to combat this. The body cannot absorb this high amount of insulin and therefore, because of the extra insulin and sugar, this gives you too much energy which can lead to behavioral problems.

Foods which include sugar that we might not be aware of would be

• * Yoghurts with fruit (19grams per yoghurt)
