Sugar is an organic compound with different sweetness levels. Sucrose is white crystal refined from beet plant or the cane. It is has two sugars (disaccharide) - glucose and fructose that is broken into simple sugars. Primary sugar present in refined corn syrup and fruits are fructose, while glucose is the only brain fuel that also provides body energy as it’s transported in the blood stream.

How sugar is utilized in the body

Digestion of unprocessed, natural and whole food produces all glucose the brain needs for proper human organism function, this is possible without consuming a spoonful of raw or brown sugar for all body nutritional needs. Healthy diet includes taking sugar in moderation to avert the problem of chronic health problems.

As the body struggles to balance and adjust its metabolic, causing tear and wear on the body system, the sugar pours out and is easily absorbed into blood stream in huge amounts that the body cannot handle.

This sugar intake translates to 20 teaspoon per daily consumption far much beyond 10 teaspoons recommended daily. This high sugar measure is found in honey, corn sweeteners, dextrose, glucose and high fructose corn syrup that make sugar an empty calorie. The following are different types of sugar the body digests:

•Fructose-This is a fruit sugar with a different chemical structure that does not raise sugar levels like sucrose and glucose.
•Dextrose or Glucose-This is a complex carbohydrates table sugar with starch molecules derived from dextrose molecules and found in grains, beans and vegetables.
• Corn syrup-This is a clear sweet liquid from a broken down corn starch by acids. Its nutritional value is equal to white sugar.
•Cane crystals-Contains all the original cane juice nutrients from evaporated can juice. Its composition is pure
