In Steinbeck's American Classic, Of Mice and Men there are two main characters Lennie and George. They have been friends for years, and travel together to achieve the picture perfect American Dream. Since they have a really close companionship they spend a lot of time together. George also has to protect and take care of Lennie because he has disabilities. Although they are such good friends, they have conflicts with each other. For example, when George yelled at Lennie when they were by the River for causing so many troubles for him and not allowing him to live the life he wanted to. But, even after this situation George and Lennie still continue to travel together. Like any close friends, George and Lennie spend a good amount of time together.
