From another part, when Crooks said “S’pose George don’t come back no more. What’ll you do then?” (Steinbeck, 71) Then Lennie got mad to him because of getting bullied about their relationship. That’s another part that there were relationships about these two characters. Also in the last scene, when George killed Lennie there was relationship like George making Lennie die by not getting tortured by Curly.

The two main character George and Lennie are best buddies. Lennie is huge and lumbering, but George is small and sharp. They are both opposite in many ways, but they are both feeling that they don’t want to be separated. George always think about Lennie, and when Lennie said, “If you don’t want me, you only jus’ got to say so, and Ill go off in those hills right there, right up in those hills and live by myself.”(Steinbeck pg 13) George said “ I want you to stay with me.” (Steinbeck pg 13) This means that George is saying strict things to Lennie, but is thinking that he is an important person to him.
