In the beginning of the book Stanley was selfish and he only thought of himself.
For example: “I don't know how to teach.” (Sacher, 82)
Anybody could teach but he didn’t feel like it.
Another example “You watch it!” (Sacher, 44) He could have said sorry, but because he said that it sounds like he wants justice.
Towards the end Stanley became selfless, and he began to care about others for example “Can you walk?” (Sacher, 161) This proves Stanley actually can care about others and that
