The Tragedy of Macbeth written by Shakespeare is based around a single evil act of one man who took action into his own hands. Macbeth wanted to be king of Scotland, and with help from his wife he killed the king and took the throne. To be king of Scotland Macbeth had to make a choice of good or evil, which would affect the rest of his life. This play is filled with choices of good vs. evil and the decisions the characters made decided their fate. Good vs. evil is the most important theme in The Tragedy Of Macbeth because the whole play is based around decisions of good or evil.
