This is not usual as the Capulet is has a really high ranking and the Nurse is just a normal person when the Nurse said “God in heaven bless her! You are to blame, my lord to rate so” the Capulet gave as response “Hold your tongue, Good prudence. Smatter with your gossops” this shows how much the Nurse cares about Juliet because she is so brave to step up and defend Juliet against the Capulet. Shakespeare's shows in that scene how the Nurse bravely stepped up against a person which is more important and not supposed to talk to the reason why Shakespeare does this is to show how much love they have for each other and how close they are comparing to her own mother lady

Juliet asks the nurse about Romeo and who he is, rather than her mother, who she had just spoken to minutes before. This shows that Juliet is more comfortable asking the nurse about men and expressing her curiosity to her rather than to her mother. This puts forward the assumption that because Capulet was physically abusive it had lead to juliet wanting to get away so eagerly. As Capulet threw Juliet to the ground in the movie, the nurse was the only person who had stepped in, this making Juliet feel as if Lady Capulet and Capulet were not on her side. The Nurse was an actual caring “mother” rather than Juliet’s mother whom would’ve let her killed herself if she didn’t marry Paris. Juliet was simply put, in love with Romeo, a Montague and her parents did not like because they want her to marry Paris. As the Nurse wanted her to be happy with Romeo rather than be miserable without him and forced to marry Paris. If the Nurse wasn’t around Juliet would’ve killed herself as she would be miserable living with someone and being married to someone she didn’t love.…

In Conclusion, I think that Romeo is a young, inexperienced and impatient but loyal and brave boy. I think that his naivety plays a huge rule in this because love was taken as an extravagant feeling to have when it was not truly happy as the lovers can experience heartbreak and many other obstacles. It seems as if Romeo only more cautious and deliberate, his devastating ending could have been prevented (even though we have not finished the book yet). Amongst friends especially Mercutio, Romeo shows signs of his social and quick witted persona, even with his fond of verbal jousting that is mainly about sex. Lastly, Romeo is like every other male in the world who only unveils their true self to the people who they trust or who understand them.…

Listening to that woman bellow “Juliet” with her Hispanic pronunciation is hilarious in itself, but it also gives us insight into how these characters relate to each other. The dynamic of servant and mistress is pretty dated in the 90's. Sure, well off families often have maids and nannies, and it is established that the Capulet's are rich, but wealthy families of our time are much more likely to think of their help as extended family or close friends. This comes through in the very maternal relationship the Nurse has with…

(Act 2 scene 4 lines 151-154). Here, Romeo is being told not to play around with Juliet and to treat her right, as she is still young. From this, the audience can see the contrast between the love that Lord Capulet has for Juliet and the unconditional love that the nurse has for her. Shakespeare has used Lord Capulet and the nurse to represent the familial love that took place in the play, and how conditional love was common…
