How Does Serial Killers Affect Society

The question of whether or not man is predetermined at birth to lead a life of crime is a question that has been debated for decades. For centuries, humans have been fulfilled with anger, when they let that anger growth it turned itself into darkness. With darkness comes the craving for blood. Murder has been part of our history for centuries, in fact, in ancient time’s murder and revenge was communal in the course of everyday life throughout societies. Hiding behind a mask and haunting innocent people for centuries is the “Serial Killers”. They commit such horrendous crimes, but that does not stop society from being fascinating with them. This is because they are so mysterious in their behavior and it is common for people to want to know why they are who they are. Serial killers are affecting people in society all the time; even years after their death and because of this, there are many implications. This implication include that the U.S.A. is unmatched among the world's countries with 2,743 serial killers, amounting to 67.41% of the entire world's serial killers on record (Worldatlas). Most of the world famous and recognizable serial killers have identified as American. From these serial killers there are hundreds and thousands of books, TV shows, and movies. These shows examine different issues like the way they think, act, and manner of killing, also how they get caught, and police work.
