How Does Scrooge Present Greed In A Christmas Carol

Have you ever talked to someone who doesn’t like Christmas? Or have you ever seen the movie “A Christmas Carol” with Ebenezer Scrooge. In the movie "A Christmas Carol" is the main character Scrooge he is a man who hates Christmas and know one knows why. So now Scrooge is going to have three ghost's come and visit him, The Spirit Of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet To Come. These spirits will try to redirect Scrooge to a better path than the one he recently had taken, greed doesn’t bring happiness.

The first way that the theme, greed doesn’t bring happiness is. “And he took a child and set him in the midst of them.” (scene 5, lines 70-80 Mr. Cratchit). The Spirit Of Christmas Yet To Come showed Scrooge how his greed is killing people around him. For example, Tiny Tim, after his father Mr. Cratchit couldn’t afford the medication he needed to heal Tim thank’s to Scrooge not giving not even close the wage Mr. Cratchit deserve’s. It also feels like Scrooge doesn’t care about Mr. Cratchit’s trouble beforehand. This caused Mr. Scrooge clearly and emotionally see that his greedy actions will eventually kill a poor suffering people like Tim.

But even though this story is fiction there are people in the world who do hate christmas and are so greedy they make Ebenezer Scrooge seme nice. Don’t become these people because there are people mentally and physically hurting around the world. So don’t be like Scrooge and give a little and be happy that you have what you have.
