What Is It? How Does It Show Itself? What Is It Like To Live With It?
Schizophrenia is a Mental Illness/Disorder that affects you critically if you don't treat it right. It shows itself in time, might be when your a child or a teenager or when your in your adult age. But one thing is for sure, it is a Mental Illness/Disorder that can change your life forever.
What Is It?
Schizophrenia is a severe Illness/Disorder that affects how you understand things, think things, feel things and how you behave. It is a pretty rare Illness/Disorder that affects about one percent of our population. When it is “Active” the symptoms that you can get by it are hallucinations which can show you some weird things that can be horrific. (ex. Seeing blood on the walls, seeing your nightmare come “to life” and some other pretty horrific stuff) Or just plain weird/disturbing (ex. Chickens squawking your name, your best friend having a pigeon head…) stuff. Another is the lack of emotions which pretty much means that you just feeling really “down” all the time. There are also a bunch more of symptoms that can be some major “Red Flags.”

Men usually start getting affected by it faster than women and most of the time people don't get schizophrenia after the age of 45. There are some stories about people having schizophrenia and how they dealt with it. (I will link them down below.) Now most families can quickly figure out if their child or somebody else has schizophrenia and be able to take them to a doctor quickly. But some families are not really able to do that, so at most times when the symptoms start coming through, it might be too late and it's difficult to know what might happen. Now lastly, it must be difficult to live with schizophrenia
