The book “The Alchemist” is a story about a young boy named Santiago, he has a recurring dream about him finding treasure, the story is about his journey to find it. Along the way his character grows, and it develops into a character that you root for in his struggles. At the end of the story you are left with a character that has both positive and negative traits. Traits such as him being too trustworthy, and him proposing to a girl he only saw for a brief moment the day before.
