In 1955 Rosa Parks made the decision to disobey bus conduct and refuse to give up her seat to a white person when the white section was filled up. Parks act of defiance sent her to court, but made her infamous as trying to stand up to racism. Sadly, racism is a part of our society in 2017. It is all throughout the world and this needs to be stopped. What can we do to stop this, how does this affect our society, and what is actually classified as racism, these are all things that we need to know so we can prevent it. To start things off, how can we stop this nonsense? One way that we can is provided in provided from Australian Human Right Commision “It takes guts to stand up to racism – but you should never put your physical safety at risk. There are plenty of things you can do to make a difference that don't involve confrontation.”, this is perfect because it shows the reader a way to help stop racism without getting physical. Australian Human Right Commision says, “This is what Australians told us about how they feel about racism: It makes me feel like I am lower than everyone else, an intruder who is not part of this society.
