A worn path by Eudora Welty Phoenix Jackson and the phoenix bird of mythology are very similar they both overcome obstacles and keep going no matter what and they both go on a journey.
Phoenix jackson and the mythological bird both overcome obstacles. Phoenix jackson overcome obstacles throughout the story when she walking the path she is an older women and it is during the winter and it's cold so her bones are weak and it takes alittle longer for her to do things. She also has something like memory loss and she forgets things throughout the story. On the other hand the mythology bird overcomes obstacles because the bird might be too far away from the egyptian city so he can fly to go die and that it lives for so long and it has a very long life so it has a long time before it goes off to die and be reborn. Phoenix jackson and the mythological bird also keep going no matter what the bird keeps going because his life is thousand of years because they go to the city and it catches on fire then its reborn from their ashes and they go back to their life and flying and they keep going and keep going because they live their life and they have to keep going. phoenix jackson takes this path a lot but along the journey she falls in a ditch and she has a gun put to her and some other things to but she keeps going and doesn't stop. The mythological bird goes on a journey because his whole life is a journey just in itself because it is born and then lives then it is killed and it burn and it is reborn from the ashes of its enemy and it lives for another 1400 years and it happens all over again its life is a never ending
