Characters in a work of literature often display intense courage when they face a difficult situation. In the book Percy Jackson, the character displays his courage through the story. When fighting different monsters, finding clues, and trying to save his mother’s life. Since he discovered he was a half blood of one of the greatest Greek gods, Poseidon, he was looking to find out why his father was never around and left him with his disgusting stepfather. But then Percy realized that his father was trying to protect him from his enemies. He also showed his courage when he was accused of stealing Zeus’s bolt and needed to clear his name, he never gave up.
