Grit has nothing to do with a person's appearance, academic studies, IQ, and status. Grit is effort that success is build upon. It is the ability to to perseverance toward your goal by overcoming difficult times and moving forward during the time of adversity, failure, rejection, and obstacles. Grit is a characteristic of success. How does one cultivate grit? Grit can be cultivated in many different ways. It is a combination of characteristic such as passion, resilience, consistency, self discipline and commitment. In order for a person to attain grit ones has to be positive and a have growth mind.
