Odysseus, King of Ithaca, is the hero of Homers book The Odyssey. Odysseus shown a number of characteristics but the main characteristic that is displayed throughout the whole book is courage. He also displays leadership, as being the main character of Homers “The Odyssey”, by being the leading through the Trojan war as well as being captain of the ship.
