It means that not only am I able to care for myself but I’m also capable of sustaining the life of another human being. Being a mother makes you learn a lot of good lessons, hard ones, but good ones, and though you may struggle you will always have a little person behind you to look at the mother that he loves very much and that look alone will make you pick yourself up and try again. My son has taught me a number of things, but teaching me how to live is by far the greatest

While I am still in a place in my life that I have many goals, I want to conquer and dreams I want to achieve, one of those dreams is to be ready to be a mother. I want to feel as ready as possible to be a parent before jumping in, because there are so many styles and decisions involved in being a mother, and I want to know what I am doing. Through counseling and education, I realized how fulfilling being a parent might be, and how all of this knowledge and love could raise a very happy human. I have many reasons why I want to be a parent, as I hope most people who have children (whether intentionally or unintentionally) eventually realize. One of these reasons is that I love kids.…

“We were only babies, having a baby,” as my mother said. After what it felt like days or even years, at 4:07A.M on May 26th, 2013 Raeliegh Jean Salmons was born. There, in that moment my life changed forever. That was by far the greatest moment of my life, and I will never forget it. It is important to me with being a positive role model to my kids. They are looking at me every step of the way. If they want to acknowledge it or not, they are watching and learning directly from me. Being a parent is hard work, in a sense it is another job. While you don’t get any financial gain, more like depletion of your funds, parenting is very rewarding.…

I do this with my schoolwork, as well as in my athletics. We both have a voice in our head that makes us keep going, no matter how difficult the situation. Creativity is a trait that we both share, but in different ways. I’ve learned in my short life so far the most job of value any person can have is being a parent, and providing for and teaching your child or children how to be self-sufficient, decent, forward thinking, and open minded people who one day will be successful in their own right. Being a relatively young parent most times I feel that I am constantly learning, and figuring out what it takes to become successful myself, so I definitely want to gain as much knowledge and wisdom as I can to pass on to my daughter. I see the love and admiration she has for myself and her mother, and I don’t want to let her down. While this weighs heavily on me, it gives me motivation and drive to do everything in my power to provide a great life for her, so she has everything she needs to be successful when she becomes an adult. “Integrity is an essential part of true educational experience..” (Bill Taylor), you may be wondering how this correlates to a good life and my daughter.…
