This could be considered true from their point of view. Money is an item that is valued greatly in this country and is held over each individuals head. Should money be all that is treasured? Or should a man's worth be determined by the deeds they have done within their lifespan?
Communism is an idea that allows everyone to be equal in terms of economics. If communism worked the way it is suppose to, it could be a solution to humans holding value over money. In theory it seems but human nature prevents such a thing to occur because humans want to work hard and be rewarded as such.
On the other hand, one may see money as a way to new opportunities. Having wealth can open doors to education, jobs, and meeting new people. If you have wealth you can provide "better education" for your children. In many countries school is not free and not many have access to it. That is where having the necessary resources can be benefitting. Children could have greater knowledge and grow up to be better citizens and contribute to society in a positive
