The Sniper By Liam O'Flaherty Short Story Suspense

The Book is about A Sniper in the Irish Civil War and trying to find another Sniper in hiding. The Sniper in the story was on a roof of a building trying to find other sniper’s trying to shoot him.

He was trying not to make a sound or show any light or they will find him but,he was stressed out so he tried to light a cigarette but he knew that they will see the flame but, the flames on a match aren’t very big so he struck the match against the box. A Bullet whizzed by his head and he knew that they saw it so now he knows that somebody is trying to kill him.

The Sniper is now trying to kill him my evidence for this is that he looked over the roof of where he was hiding and tried to see
