Learning disabilities defined as a neurological disorder those results from the difference of the way the person’s brain is wired. Everyone is different in their own way and they all have their own strengths and weaknesses. For example, children with learning disabilities are as smart or can be smarter than their peers. Just because you have a learning disability it doesn’t differentiate you from the others, it’s just makes you look smarter and unique. The purpose of this report is to find out how learning disabilities in different subjects or stages affect the learning process. Seretis and he is well-known in the school because he substitutes as a resource teacher in most of the gr. 9 to 12 classes. He is helpful and useful during times when you’re struggling to do something like an assignment or project. He gives good clarification when you don’t understand certain parts of the question or the assignment. In general, all SERT teachers intend to assist students when learning is taking place in the classroom by helping them develop their cognitive and academic skills. The teacher’s motivation is to help students who have difficulties in doing small tasks or assignments. You can usually find the SERT teachers in 2009 or 2010 which is the Special Led room. The type of research method I demonstrated was practical research and this is a study involves a form of questionnaires, interviews and surveys. For my experiment, I decided to do survey and interviews because it’s an easy method to capture information that will deeply develop a context that will imply more about your topic. I brainstormed ten virtuous interview questions to ask the SERT teacher and it all was related to my hypothesis. My interview questions were concise and straight-forward because it was something where teachers can reflect own thoughts. The questions were so complicated so I had to rephrase it in a way Mr. Seretis can understand it. The data I collected from my interview is how students benefit from their IEP and how their teachers accommodate according to their needs in order to help them become successful. Questionnaires and interviews are useful for this report because it can be tested quickly, can collect a lot of data and can quickly show changes in attitudes or behavior before and after specific
