What Happens When I Got Away Analysis

Have you ever met the perfect person, and things were going great! Then all of a sudden, things shift to a slow pace and eventually fade away. One might call it unlucky or bad timing, but I believe the factor that kills a relationship is the lack of communication or expressing what you are truly feeling. I often believed that the universe was working against me when the magic seemed to evaporate from the relationship. Sometimes insecurities and doubts are the reasons one may not express their feelings openly with the one that has captured their heart, because the assumptions based on the insecurities has convinced you that you are not the one. No one got away, get over it and stop living in the past. If that person was truly worth it, love knows know humility and they would have moved heaven and earth to keep you or get you back. I can only recall one instance of this happening to me, however, I can admit that I was too stubborn and mean, to break my back tracking rule to see what could actually happen if I said yes. In my opinion he did not get away, we are still friends, just not as close as we were once upon a time. I actually apologized for my actions, years later of course,( I 'm a Taurus so don 't judge me) and he forgave me. It was a big relief and a testament of how we both have grown over the years. To watch his journey highs and lows, where he never surrender to fears, rejection or failure, inspired me to be a little more fearless and take risk. Please get over it and move on. The fact of the matter is, you are witnessing the happiness of two people and you are not apart of the equation. Stop comparing yourself to the new person, because you are obviously lacking something that they have, especially since you are the past and they are the present and future in some cases. The next time you have something wonderful appreciate in that very moment, because the next moment you could be watching someone else appreciate what you took for granted. Sometimes in this situation the person is more interested in the happiness and joy that radiates from the relationship in comparison to their current relationships
