The Last Mohican by James Fenimore Cooper can be securely called an example of Native American literature because it aligns with three important elements of that style: Bravery in people, Bitterness towards others not of their kind, and Ancestry, which are also present in the acclaimed Native American works “The Way to Rainy Mountain” by N.
