Spending $18 billion dollars on health care cost just for heart diseases is severely affecting the community. A community should have a clinic that is accessible for those people who doesn’t have health insurance. Specially the black community because they at more risks to develop hypertension. The community should develop some type of health promotion to educate the individual about nutrition, exercising and screening. Some simple things can improve blood pressure without taking drugs. If blood pressure is only moderately raised, these may be enough on their own. They may also mean that you get better blood pressure with tablets. Reducing the amount of salt that you eat can have an important effect. Most of us eat far more than we need and it may harmful. It is difficult to lower it a lot if you eat a lot of fast food, which is often very high in salt. Blood pressure falls if obese people lose weight.
