The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne is an amazing book. The main character is Hester Prynne. Hester has a vast problem. People had her labeled as an adulterer. As the book goes on the people began to see the “A” as being “able” instead of “adultery”. We can all relate to Hester because she was labeled by people and was looked down on because of her sin. If she can change the meaning of her label, then we can change the meaning of ours as well.
