However, even though everyone should expect to get a cold once in awhile, most are surprised when it happens to them. Even more people don't try to prevent themselves from getting sick in the first place. Having a cold might not seem like a big deal, but it certainly can be. Everyone from doctors to student are affected, even though it is in very different ways. Knowing how a cold can affect you is of key importance when deciding just how important taking the steps to avoid one are.
