A romantic notion to me in today’s society is gun control. This is a huge topic of debate in today’s world. As many would like to think, including me, that gun control is something that will change the outcomes of all the shooting. However, if we look at in realistic terms gun control will not reduce crime in America. Gun control sounds wonderful in theory. No guns mean no more shootings. If only it was that simple. The major problem with gun control laws is that it is likely only the law-abiding will obey them. Since we have 22,000 gun laws at the various levels of government, and these laws worked, then we would be free of crimes committed by guns.
