I agree with you when you said that mythology has exercised an enormous influence on the culture of Western civilization. We can see myth related stories almost every day in books, movies, and even video games. There is a video game I played a couple of years ago called God of War. It’s a game based on Greek mythology. The story line, characters, and images used in it was incredible. It makes you stick to the game and learn a whole lot of Greek mythology while playing it. That game has been to this day one of my favorites of all time, but that is just an example how easily we can come across other myths even when we don't expect
