How Does Gravity Affect The Solar System

Space is the last frontier, with discoveries made every single day. Gravity has a huge impact on these discoveries. We know that gravity impacts the solar system in many ways and all throughout the galaxy but how does gravity affect these things?

All objects have a gravitational pull. This means that this force had a huge impact on the formation of our solar system and other solar systems in our galaxy and in the universe. First of all, a phet simulation showed us this. When mass 1=50 kg and mass 2=200 kg, the gravitational pull was 41712 E-7 Newtons. When mass 1 increased to 150 kg and mass 2 stayed the same. The gravitational pull increased 125856 E-6 Newtons. This shows that when the mass increases, this directly affects the force of gravity and this applies to Newton’s Second Law, F=MA. Also, the Solar Nebula Theory lab showed how stars are made. Dust from nebula’s are pulled together from gravity and start fusing together,

Using the gravitational pull of other objects, astro physicists use this data to determine if the object is a planet or not. In the future, scientists might need to make a satellite that will travel farther than voyager 1 to study the gravitational pull of the object that might be Planet X.If it is a planet, it would be the ninth planet in our solar system. To conclude, scientists could use data to prove or help prove the Steady State Theory. This theory states that the universe is ageless and that it will never change. Scientist could observe the gravitational pull of some stars. If this is indeed changing, then the stars might be dying and this could affect the universe.

In conclusion, there are many different ways gravity affects the universe in many ways. If gravity didn't exist, then the universe would look different in many ways and there would be no such thing as the “Steady-State
