As educators, graphic design surrounds us; despite that fact that we spend most of our time not noticing these vivid aspects of life. These graphical designs are rudimental and quite essential when it comes to the economical commerce world of branding and marketing.
The video was intriguing; however, it was difficult to keep up with reading the words while trying to simultaneously comprehend the meaning behind the video. Although, from the title and the FIT logo that kept flashing onto the screen every couple of frames; I can deduce that this video is probably a subconsciously promotional video inviting new students and transfers to apply to the Fashion Institute of Technology within the State University of New York (SUNY). Graphic design affects the way we think as educators by subconsciously and psychologically allowing us to perceive the influential aspects it has on us. For the most part, we are unconsciously aware of its effects; however, when we are in the consciously waking world, we are completely caught off guard and unaware of those impressions it has on us.
