Lord of The Flies is a dystopian novel written in 1954 by William Golding. The book begins in the midst of a nuclear war, when a group of private schooled British boys crash onto an uninhabited Island and try to establish a form of government that creates disastrous results. Throughout the novel, Golding unveils the brutal truth about the littluns and biguns savage instincts and unmanageable urges. He ultimately links the boys to mankind to illustrate that savagery is human nature and inside everyone. In Lord of The Flies, William Golding uses religious allegories to highlight the flaws in human nature. Golding argues that the children’s consistent dissension stems from a greater
