For some odd and bizarre reason, many people think that when you don’t have a lot of money, that makes you a horrible person. I once had a friend that was like a sister. We always were together, and our parents would hang out frequently. My friend’s mother, however, always thought that she was better as a person since she had more money than my mom. This always made me upset, and it wasn’t the first time I saw things like this in Gladstone. I’d say most people in Gladstone are Christians: my family is Christian, my friends are Christian, and my teachers are Christian. I knew a friend who was an atheist. We were at drama club, and we were all casually chatting when suddenly the topic of religion came up. I’m not sure how, but this woman began talking about the creation of Earth. My atheist friend revealed how he didn’t believe in that in a polite and simple way. This woman, though, was suddenly insulted. She felt like he was trying to “oppress” her religion. The irony is quite annoying. Whenever religion is ever mentioned in Gladstone, most people assume that everyone is Christian, making other followers of different religions feel invalid and
