It was our fourth game of the football season, only a few minuet’s left until half-time when the tragedy happened. I was playing outside linebacker, as the other team did a run to my side. I went in for the tackle and simultaneously another teammate of mine was too. That’s when all the weight of both players caused my knee to go one way and I the other way. All I felt were two snaps like grabbing a stick and snapping it in half. The pain hit me like a ton of bricks and I knew something was wrong. My coaches and medical staff came running over as I laid on the ground. My knee was swelling up like a grape fruit and everyone had thought my knee cap was broken. I was taking off the field and rushed to the hospital. Where I found out the existent of my injury. The doctor came in and told me my season was over and that I was going to need surgery and physical therapy which would put me out for six to nine months. Seven months later I am almost done with physical therapy, it was a grueling seven months of relearning how to walk, run, and getting my strength back in my leg. At the doctors for my last visit he tells me I will have to wear my knee brace for any physical actives and that now I have a higher risk of retiring my ACL
