We usually blame school, work or stress for lack of sleep, which maybe true to some extent but for the most people lose of sleep is due to voluntary bedtime delay. We spend many hours watching TV, playing video games, browsing internet, going out with friends etc. rather than using that time to get a good night sleep. Poor quality sleep affects our body composition and eating habits, which leads to many diseases.
Weak body composition and eating disorder due to lack of sleep weakens our immune system, which affects the ability to fight infections more difficult. Cold and flue are one of the most occurring examples of it. Having flue weakens our body, which impacts our performance on everyday task. The website Precision nutrients states that
