Fahrenheit 451 is a book set in a futuristic dystopian society in which humans are attached to, and somewhat controlled by, our technology, and where books are outlawed and burned by a government group called “Firemen.” The main character, Guy Montag, is one of these firemen. In the beginning he meets a new neighbor named Clarisse, who would ask if he had read any of the books that he was told to burn, which sets a clear and adventurous path for Guy Montag. He even had his own television series that ran for 6 years, from 1985 to 1992, called Ray Bradbury Theater. On his show, Bradbury would narrate short films, based off of his short stories. His show also had multiple celebrity appearances, including William Shatner and Jeff Goldblum. He also had a screenplay called The Halloween Tree, based off of one of his short stories. The writing for this film earned him an Emmy. He has done that and so much more, and now he has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame because of how much he contributed to the movie scene. There is also a crater on the moon, called Dandelion Crater, named after one of Bradbury’s books called Dandelion
