Facebook affects society
Facebook is a social networking website that help people communication and share information with each other. Facebook designed by a college student called Mark Zuckerberg in 2004. He went in Harvard University and start his genius social networking website upload in 2006. Now Facebook becomes the largest social media website and there have over 1 billion users in the world. Facebook is easy to join. Anyone over age of 13 with valid email address can create a Facebook account. For most of the people now living in the world, having a Facebook account is necessary of being online, it much like of having a phone. The reason why Facebook having more and more users is because of Facebook start integrate with other website.

Quality times suffer, Loss of social skills, Facebook changes the meanings of ‘’friend’’, Facebook is lack of personal privacy. First of all, quality times suffer. Which means people often contact each other on line but instead of face to face to each other. This really affects us deeply. We can observe that when people contact to parents. People often being lazy to contact their parents if there is no emergency. This makes relationship of parents and children getting farther and farther. Secondly, loss of social skills. This is the most common problem we can observe from the teenagers. Social skills is important for young people. Social skills help people have better communication with other and find a job easier. Now in the world have many teenagers rely on social media. This causes those people loss of social skills. Thirdly, Facebook change the meaning of ‘’friend’’, people often request friend on Facebook. By the time pass, people have more and more friends on Facebook. It seems like have a lot of friends but the fact is people would not consider those people as friend in real world. Like other additions, it means ‘’being unable to stop using it even when you want to." People cannot stop looking at their phone. First thing to walk up or before sleep is check the message from social media. Some people even prefer Facebook over sex. People who over-using social media might also suffer from increased levels of anxiety and being lonely in a crowd. That is because people too busy with online strangers instead of ‘friends’ next to them. There have 5 ways to fight social media addition, focus, cull the network, use lists and filters, use a schedule, and set a timer. First of all, focus, which means to limit the number of the most using social network website such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Focus on the real life right now. Secondly, cull the network, stop follow or add random strangers online. Follow or add a person that who have connection with others, common interests and friends, and has to show a real profile picture on page. Thirdly, use lists and filters, which means on Facebook or Twitter, people can connect to someone unfriend and receive strange information. Filters to hide those information but not permanently and make lists of friends, business, and personal information. It makes quicker to view the status updates of a specific group of people. Fourthly, use a schedule, schedule the use of social media. Don’t use and don’t leave Facebook or Twitter open in a web browser tab
