In the book Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, Pip is influenced a lot by Estella. The first way estella influences pip is by making him be ashamed of himself. Estella ridicules pip while they are playing cards. " 'He calls the knaves jacks, this boy!' Said Estella with disdain before our first game was out, 'And what coarse hands he has!
