Attention Getter: 70% of an adult’s body is made up of water. In one year, the average American residence uses about 100.000 gallons of water. Per day, 400 billion gallons of water are being used in the United States.
PURPOSE: To inform the audience how consuming enough water is important for the body.

IMPORTANCE to AUDIENCE: Certain health diseases that we acquired are caused due to insufficient amount of water in the body. This speech will inform you how drinking the right amount of water will benefit the body.
THESIS STATEMENT: Drinking enough water each day can protect the body from certain damage.
