How Does Daycare Affect Children

Day care is only there for help. It should not affect your relationship with your child. From reading this chapter I’ve learned that most studies show no correlation between negative developmental effects or harmful effects on a child’s attachment to their parents. But studies do show that low quality daycare and attachment problems can take a toll on a child. As long as you form a healthy relationship with your child and remain consistent with this and get your child in the best daycare program possible you will not see any negative developmental or attachment problems due to daycare. As a parent, it is your job to ensure that your child gets the best care they can when you are not around. As long as that does happen the child should not be
