Impact of Culture on International Business The world is made of nations and people who differ greatly based on cultures, geograph-ic locations, languages, and religion. These diversities have showed to be the normal circum-stances that either separates or binds them. Culture makes up the elements of normalcies, tradi-tions and religious of a group of people (Williams 2009). Understanding that differences in cul-ture is only able to be achieved through careful analyzation on how they act individually or as members of different groups (Smith 2014). As many new businesses enter the ever-changing global market, cultural diversity has always played a major role in being able to formulate in-ternational marketing strategies. The failure to take cultural differences between countries into account has been the cause of many marketing failures (Williams 2009). I found threw my re-search that the easiest way to show international marketing was to examine instances where companies failed to adhere to different cultures and thus lost money.

Huge factors such as different religious af-filiations of people and the culture’s tendencies whether collectivist or individualist will all end up impacting the marketing campaign. As the examples showed the cultural differences from target markets are very important. Therefore, international marketers should know the target audience in advance and chose to communicate through means that are appropriate and that ap-ply to the audience. Failure to do this will only lead to the marketing campaigns failure. For this reason, cultural risk is a very huge risk to consider when in the international marketplace.
